Primarily working on the Renewable Electricity Register (RER) project, a rewrite of the existing Renewables and CHP Register system used for administering the RO (Renewable Obligation), REGO (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin) and ROO-FIT renewable energy schemes.
Software solutions developed with C#/.NET Core with SQL Server 2019, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, SCSS and the Government Design System. Followed modern DevOps & cloud practises utilising tools including Azure DevOps (Boards/Pipelines/Artifacts) and Confluence.

Primarily working with Equiniti & Canada Life on their web pensions platform for Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).
Software solutions developed with C#/.NET Core ASP WebAPI for backend and Angular 7+ for frontend. Used modern tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira/Confluence and Octopus Deploy.
During my time working on the Equiniti project I have been awarded with the 'Buzz Lightyear' award by the Development Lead, Adam Tyson, for being recognised for the speed of which I became familiar with the complex codebase to the point of demonstrating changes to the client.

Developer, East Kilbride, Scotland, November 2017 - June 2019
Working primarily as a frontend developer on a wide variety of multi-faceted B2C & B2B travel e-commerce sites for high-profile clients including Barrhead Travel, Co-Operative Travel, Sandals Resorts & MSC Cruise Lines. Frontend development primary achieved using JavaScript, jQuery & the Mozilla Nunjucks templating library wrapped with a custom framework 'Amaze' & 'Page Builder' CMS. Advocated and begun work on migrating to a React based solution using Git/GitHub for version control.
Did backend development also, primarily integrating supplier XML/JSON APIs into the search & booking engine developed with Perl, version controlled with SVN.
During my time at Traveltek I was awarded with a 'Club Elite' award, representing myself as one of the top 10 best performing employees in the business voted by my peers & colleagues.
